Jennifer Hogan, a doctoral candidate in Philosophy and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, created the prototype of Digital Dante nearly five years ago and has gone on to develop the site in tables, and frames. Since then, she has devoted herself to innovative pedagogy and reflective curriculum development that includes teaching with new technologies. She has been an evaluator of the Amiens Cathedral Project at Columbia University and Research Associate at the Dalton School New Lab for Teaching and Learning. She is currently writing her dissertation on Liberal Education in a Digital Study Space, drawing from the educational philosophies of Plato, Rousseau, and Dewey and charting their importance in the context of the new technologies.
