Jennifer Kane's Dante Class
In January 1998, Jennifer Kane of The Miller School in Charlottesville, Virginia, taught the Dante's Inferno to a group of High School students. Working within a not yet networked school, Ms. Kane was unable to use the Digital Dante Project as a part of the class, but rather as a tool for her own professional development and inspiration for her teaching. Her students created their own visual representations of Dante's Inferno in the form of paintings, sculpture, and styrofoam works. To take a look at some of the student work, visit the following:
