Jackie Robinson: was the first black baseball player of the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was courageous, because he knew that he was challenging societies idea that blacks shouldn't be allowed to play baseball. It was during the time of segregation. Jackie faced a lot of abuse from the other players on the team. When he was on the field he faced abuse from the spectators. Spectators threw black cats on the field and held up signs opposing his place on the team. In Paradise, Dante's circle of Jupiter places the souls who loved and exercised justice. Jackie Robinson was a person who loved his family but also exercised justice by displaying the injustices of the world. He did this by becoming one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He also showed the world that African-Americans can be achievers.
NAACP( National Association for the Advancement of Colored People): this organization provides scholarships for black children. They also supported the Supreme court case , Brown vs. Board of Education. The NAACP took part in rallies and protest dealing with blacks rights. Jupiter is a circle that souls who loved and exercised justice are placed. The NAACP has always showed their love of The Negro Race by fighting for their rights. They also exercised justice by correcting the injustice against blacks.
